This site is a tribute to Alexandra Kay Vøhtz Petersen, who was born on 2nd September 1992 and passed away, aged just 28, on 27th June 2021.
A talented artist, a loving, caring friend and a cherished daughter. Memories of time spent with her are treasured by friends, family and her beloved Cavapoo, Saffie.
Alexandra Kay’s legacy
Suffering with the connective tissue disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Alexandra achieved so much and always put others first, despite battling with severe chronic fatigue and severe pain every day.
Alexandra’s legacy will continue through her wellbeing range, Alexandra Kay. Alexandra was determined to raise awareness of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and Green People will continue to donate funds raised from sales of Alexandra Kay products to The Ehlers-Danlos Support UK who improve the quality of life for people living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and hypermobility spectrum disorders.

I still can’t believe you’ve gone. I think of you every day. You fought so long against a cruel and painful disease which finally robbed you from our lives. Nobody really knew what you were going through, your bravery, your fight and your smile masked it all.
I miss our stupidly long and random chats about space, the stars, politics, crypto and quantum theory!? You googling everything because you ‘just had to know’! The brightest mind I knew, the kindest heart I met and the sweetest soul I had been blessed to call a friend. And a mean cocktail maker!
The day has come to say a final goodbye and lay you to rest.
No more pain. Just peace.
You’ve gone to join those stars in the sky now and I’ll think of you every time I look up.
